Praise God with me. Peter is miraculously intact after being involved in a life-threatening accident today. A big hauler truck pushed him off the 605 freeway near the near the intersection with the 60. Peter and the vehicle went airborne off the freeway at 60 MPH, the front bumper hitting the ground, and flipping it upside down.
He found a way over and out of the passenger door, as he was unable to exit the driver’s door because it was up against a fence post. The offending truck kept on, but graciously, the vehicle traveling behind stopped and walked down the hill. They said they expected to find a dead body. Peter has ONE scrape on his hand. ONE!
We are thanking God! Thank God the vehicle didn’t catch fire. Thank God the fence post didn’t impale him! Thank God the old trees he could have hit were just stumps now. Thank God no one was hurt—no one was killed. Thank God there were no encampments in that area below the freeway. Thank God the Toyota truck cocooned him and the seat belt held him secure. Thank God for Uncle Tim and first responders who was there in minutes. Thank God for Peter. A million thank you’s! And, Thank God for the angels on Peter-assignment today! I can’t help but hold and be held by Psalm 91:
He will command his angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways. On their hands they will bear you up lest you strike your foot agains a stone…Because he holds fast to me in love, I will deliver him; I will protect him, because he knows my name. When he calls to me, I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble; I will rescue him and honor him. With long life I will satisfy him and show him my salvation.
Praising God with you!!!
Still thanking God and praying for you all.
