All are welcome to Trinity any Sunday at 9:30 AM or 5 PM for worship. We are currently in a series on Stewardship through the beginning of February.
Here are a few other upcoming ministry opportunities open to the public.
SoCal School of the Bible is a collaboration between the Canadian Lutheran Bible Institute (outside of Edmonton, AB) and Trinity Lutheran. We will also be joined by the interns from Faith Greenhouse (Hutchinson, MN). I will be teaching the mornings (8:30 AM — 12:30 PM) of Monday, January 22-Thursday, January 25. The class is “Holy Spirit and the Church.” Anyone is able to sit in for the teach sessions in the Trinity Sanctuary. Welcome!
The Alliance of Renewal Churches is offering another Life Together Retreat at the historic and gorgeous Mission in Oceanside, CA (Tuesday-Thursday) January 30-February 1. Sign up at this link. Here is from the advert: We are living in a seismic age. Community stability, or instability, is exposed when everything is shaking. How does the Lord raise leaders who help build durable community? The stories of the saints in scripture, and through history, bear witness to God’s patience and priority in cultivating and caring for leaders who build communities. We will pay attention to an ancient way—a camino—a leadership journey through teaching, individual activities, and small group exercises.
Press pause on all the pressures of ministry to refill your cup at this Life Together Retreat. Your leader care retreat provides a safe place where pastors, leaders, and friends of the Alliance of Renewal Churches can gather with intention to share life, grow in authentic relationship with one another, worship in a relaxed and unhurried setting, as well as receive teaching, personal prayer, and encouraging prophetic ministry. All of that, and still plenty of time for rest and fun!
Mount Carmel Camp is offering a Family Camp Recharge on February 16-19 near Alexandria, Minnesota. Sign up here. Most of the interns are coming with me to help with age-level programming. From their advert: Galatians: Good News for the Guilty, Exhausted, and Control Freaks”
Come enjoy all of the fun you love at Mount Carmel Family Camp in a new season, with guest speaker Nathan Hoff, all the way from Trinity Lutheran San Pedro, CA! Join us for broomball, snow tubing, fellowship, and Bible Study by the fire. This all-inclusive extended weekend, Friday evening through Monday noon will have family worship, age-level programming, and intentional times for families to rest. Kids 0-4 come for free! Mount Carmel and Trinity Lutheran have formed a close relationship over the last few years. We are both a part of the Greenhouse Collective, sharing in the mission of community and discipleship of young adults.
